-
The nearest one, immediately
Name, walking distance, directions, opening hours and shared ratings — without typing anything.
-
Ask Siri
“Toilet Map, nearest toilet” is answered out loud without the app ever opening. Works in Spotlight and Shortcuts too.
-
The accessibility filter
For a wheelchair user that attribute is the whole question, not a convenience — so it is never behind a purchase.
-
Add what is missing
Add a toilet the map does not have, and optionally suggest it to OpenStreetMap so everyone benefits.
iPhone and iPad
Pro — one purchase, no subscription
-
Every toilet on the map
Not just the nearest one.
-
The nearby list
Sorted by distance — on screen, or read out when you ask Siri for toilets nearby.
-

Free, changing table and favourites.
-
No subscription
One purchase. It stays bought.
Any browser
The web version — €4.99, once
The same map at app.toilets.fi, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. €4.99 once, not a subscription. A sign-in link arrives by email right after checkout — no account to create, no password to remember.
This is the full version, not a preview of the app.
There is no free tier and no second purchase in the browser: the one licence is the whole map.

Thank you. A sign-in link is also on its way by email — it works once and expires in 15 minutes. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, and if it still is not there, write to support@toilets.fi — we can send it by hand.
What makes it accurate
- Two sources, merged
- OpenStreetMap’s attribute-rich entries and Apple Maps’ coverage, with duplicates removed.
- Opening hours from the map data
- You see whether it is open now. The app never claims a toilet is definitely closed — map data goes stale, and a wasted walk is the worse mistake.
- Filters that tell the truth
- “Free” hides only toilets confirmed to charge. Unknowns stay visible instead of emptying your map.
- Ratings are shared
- You see the average before you walk over. Heart the ones that worked — they stay, and they show up red on the map.
Privacy
Your location never leaves your device. No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Ratings are stored anonymously and cannot be traced back to you.

Built because the same question came up roughly a thousand times on a family trip across Europe, and every answer involved guessing, queueing, or buying an espresso first.
